Aquarium relocations are carried out personally by Adnan or Hasan, co-founders of AD Aquatics, with over 5 years of combined experience safely moving freshwater systems of all sizes — from 60-litre nano tanks to 400-litre floor-standing displays. We carry specialist livestock transport equipment and have never lost a fish to a move.

Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book a relocation?
We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance to allow proper planning. For large tanks or long-distance moves, more notice is appreciated.
Can you move the tank between rooms in the same house?
Yes — intra-property moves are the most common relocation we handle. We'll drain the tank sufficiently to move it safely and reinstall it in the new position.
What happens to my fish during the move?
Fish are held in appropriate transport bags or containers with oxygen supplementation throughout the move. We acclimatise them carefully on reintroduction to the reinstalled tank.
Will my nitrogen cycle crash after a move?
We take measures to preserve as much beneficial bacteria as possible. Minor mini-cycles can occur — we monitor parameters closely post-move and advise if any intervention is needed.
